Welcome!

The Indio Challenge, is an Ultra run that takes place in the summer of Panama and crosses the Isthmus, from Ocean to Ocean, starting from the sands of the Caribbean Sea, to the north of the country, near Icacal, in the Province of Colón, crossing the mountains of Panama Oeste and Coclé until arriving at the Hotel Decameron Playa Blanca on the beaches of the Pacific Ocean. The route runs parallel to the Indio River until its source and hence the name of the race. The race is made non-profit under the Puravoluntad Foundation dedicated to promoting a life in balance and in contact with nature.

The race is characterized by a great feeling of camaraderie, goodwill and friendship. In 2021, with all the space and time limitations due to the pandemic, it was filled in less than 48 hours with the 94 participants and more than 35 “pacers”.

Although the places are still limited, in 2022 we will have more places and priority will be given to those who participated in 2021.

The Indio Challenge 2022 will be held on the weekend of March 12 and 13
